Dr. Weinstein received an undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Washington, and completed his graduate studies in Clinical Psychology at West Virginia University with a specialization in Health Psychology.

After completing a Clinical Psychology Internship at the University of Florida Health Science Center, he went on to specialize in chronic pain management during his Pain Psychology Postdoctoral Fellowship at the James Haley VA Hospital in Tampa, FL. Dr. Weinstein believes pain management should address a combination of reducing pain, increasing functioning, and improving quality of life. He subscribes to collaborative, multidisciplinary methods to optimize pain management outcomes.
